When will be the admissions start for masters in Uos privately?
what is the procedure to get registered?
Im intended to do M.A English or Msc psychology which one is better?
how much the syllabus is different from the syllabus of pu?
Senior im looking forward to you kind suggestions

oh i also have the same query.i would like to add one more question regarding equivalence certificate?as i am a medical graduate having bs hons degree and now i want to appear in m.a english exam privately through UOS. can any one please tell whether the university demands equivalence certificate or just an NOC is required?and can i take the exam compositely?

wasif if you have any information kindly share it.what is your recent academic qualification?

Dear as per my information you can give composite exams from Uos. i think NOC will be sufficient but seniors will guide us in a better way. i have done BBA. I also heard form would be available in the month of November but still waiting for a confirmation of all my above mentioned queries from respected members.

have you started preparation for exam?can you please give me your email address as i am anxiously looking for the guidance regarding this matter.so if you do not mind i would like to get your help as we both have almost the same case.

last date for the form submission in UOS for regular candidates is 30th September. but i do not know about private aspirants.

No brother i have not started preparation. yes sure i ll put my email id in my profile yo could get it from there. but i ll not go for composite exams..
yes but for private candidates admission schedule will be started from November till December. we will have to be registered also. we are required to know about the books and syllabus also. nobody has replied as yet.

as far as the books are concerned i have read posts by seniors suggesting books by NEW KITAB MEHAL lahore for m.a english. when evere you talk to UOS administration kindly ask them about that equivalence certificate also.and kindly post your email address in your profile.thanks

guys you both need NOC from the previous institution and you can appear in composite exam ,but keep in mind this year UOS has changed the MA syllabus for english

faiza are you sure that only noc is required and equivalence certificate is not demended by UOS?

Does it mean the syllabus of Uos is not similar with the syllabus of pu now?

For all members who want to do Masters from UOS:

First Annual Exam of MA 2013 (Part II) is going on. Part I has ended. Now you can appear in 2nd Annual Exam which might be held in April/May 2014. You can appear in Parts and Composite as well. Admission form will be started in Dec or Jan 2014. Keep visiting www.uos.edu.pk. You need only NOC from previous institution, documents, admission form attested by a Professor and fees almost Rs. 5500/- for Composite.

Paper Pattern: 20 Marks objective+ 20 marks short questions+ 60 marks long question.
