Can we treat ACCA as a chartered accountant?

Which is better for working on abroad especially for Gulf countries and Australia or Canada.

I am already holds MS Finance from local univeristy.

no broo.. there is lot of differnce between ca and acca we cant treat acca as a charted accountant..on the other hand ca has more prestige than acca.in countaries you mentioned. if you wont to do acca and wana join mention countaries then do icaew after acca..

actulay for CA a 4 years of CA firm training is a big hurdle for me as I am in Banking from last 4 years and i want to complete my certification which i begin
That is Why ACCA is looking me a better option.
And Also I would entitled to FCCA after completion on basis of my experience.

PHD finance is most powerful degree..its end of every limit..and it open gate in whole world..you can teach, work limits will end..why are you going to certifications..market has been siturated enough for Acca or Ca..my suggestion go for PHD finance..

yes bro you are right for ca these fourr years are must ..soo intead of ca acca you must goo for phd in your field.. as alysia bro said.. with same limt of hard work you can do your phd. and for caa you need too much time ..but on ther other hand if you cant spend your time in ca four year training ..that is the back bone of ca.. you can go for phd rather acca..

in pakistan both ca acca have lost their recognition.but states like dubai uk are more attractive market for accas ..

Who said, indian, syrian,iraqi candidate have been given preferance in uae..bcoz these people have CFA degrees and indian lobby there..pakistani CA and AccA get max 6 to 8k salary with very tough conditions and other get 20 to 30k salary..donot blindly rush towards AccA or CA first apni taraf sai research karen kia haalaat hain pakistanies kai then go..pakistan mein ye sb kamai ka zaryia ban chuka hai Ca and acca pass karengai nei just ap ko khuab dikha kai phasa daingai..my last suggestion to you "Don,t waste your energy, time , money in certifications go for PHD."

its truee .. ca k nam p khwAb hi dikhyt hain .. but comparatively acca jaldi ho jygaa.. and accas is uk based degree not pakistani.. joo kk pakistan ka label lga dyngy..
bri you must searched it compltely then go for decision..
according to your condition acca will be the better option. but you must searchrd it ..may allah bless you

A good discussion in going on my raised query.

I am totaly in state of confusion from last 7-8 months as iam fully interested in finance certification. Many suggest me ACCA or CFA and ACCA is totlaly interact with me for enrollment. i am asking for little bit more exemptions but they are stating that first enroll then we will see it. CFA is little bit tought espicially final level. i am also banker and time for studies is also a issue for me this has been also a valid point that i am not persuing PHD.

I Invite more professionals to comment on this.
