Two days after Thursday is Sunday (2 days after the day of Thursday=Friday and Saturday)

I assume that we shall count the days after the original day has passed (after that day). For example: 1 Day after Sunday (passed) is Tuesday (after Monday).

what you are saying does make sense
but that's the way English goes
i.e the solution
Two days after Monday is Wednesday
Immediately after Wednesday is Thursday
Two days after Thursday is Saturday
Three Days after Saturday is Tuesday

May be Last Island can elaborate that comprehensively :)

Answer: Tuesday

Solution:
Start from the origin:

Monday>Wed>Thursday>Saturday>Tuesday
Monday+2=Wed+1=Thursday+2=Saturday+3=Tuesday

Doctor Sahab I've already said that in my reply to Omer
In English, when they say "after two days" they include the current day as well so that makes "2 days after Monday = Wednesday" and not Thursday

The Mind Teaser that I posted was from a book and the answer that I have posted here (Tuesday) is also from the same book.

P.S : I referred the matter to Last Island as I believed her to have some authority on English Literature and may be on grammar as well :)
Thanks for the ditto Last Island
