Top 10 Natural Wonders of the Universe

by alen, Apr 16, 2009
Ten natural wonders of the universe.

==============================================

Earth's wonders are just a page of the many others in the rest of our atmosphere. The wonders beyond Earth seem to be fake or fiction. A small atom created this universe. As years go by the universe expands and we will see more of these magnificent wonders beyond Earth.

Earth

This is on the list because this planet is the only we now that can hold human life. It was created about 4.6 billion years ago. It contains many magnificent landforms. It is exactly in the right position away from the sun and a perfect gravitational force from not crushing us.

“The Bird” Galaxy

This is a collision of two spiral galaxy creating a irregular one. It is 26 times the size of the Milky Way. It contains three black holes. One is almost as big as the Milky Way.

The Great Wall

The Great Wall is a over density of galaxies. It measures 600 million light years end to end. It is separated into two cones. It is considered one of the biggest galaxy clusters recorded.

VY Canis Majoris

This is the largest star yet recorded by astronomers. It is also one of the brightest. It is located in the Milky Way.

OJ287

This is the largest black hole in our universe. It is the mass of 18 billion Suns. It is also large enough to be its own galaxy. It even has its own little black hole orbiting it.

Crab Nebula

This is a remnant of a supernova. It is a nursery of stars. It gets its shape because of the different gravitational pulls different stars have on it.

Vela Pulsar

This is a radio, optical, X-ray and gamma-emitting pulsar. It is a remnant of the Vela Supernova. This is probably one of the most dense object in all of our Universe.

Pistol Star

This is the brightest star in the universe yet discovered. It is so massive it is said that it created the Pistol Nebula. It is getting less brighter because it is supplying the nebula with its own energy.

NGC 2440 Nucleus

This is the hottest star yet recorded by man. Its surface alone is 200,000 degrees Celsius. It is a dwarf star.

The Universe

Our Universe. Expanding everyday until it dies. It contains everything that we know and don't know.
