Iam greatful to everyone for their consideration on this post. One way to remember this type of data, as i find convenient, would be to keep a watch at our own surroundings and our culture and try to get figures of the different aspects of the society inside our brain. This way the figures will jump in from the memory as we come across different scenarios.
For example, these days we hear news about dengi virus and our health facilities running short of resources to alleviate the affected. If one takes time to compare the actual figures of health facilities and affected, the practicality of the figures will make them more memorable. (lol, funny approach, let me know if it worths it, or even if u understand it)

Good point mhmmdkashif, i'll add a little more. In my opinion discussions and sharing are the best tools to remember such facts. When you share such information or discuss with others, your brain automatically stroes the figures.
BTW thnx for sharing and yes keep an eye on CIA's world fact book at www.cia.gov Regards,
