First constituent Assembly:-
First contituent Assembly held its first meeting on 10th August, 1947.The first constituent Assembly was dissolved by Guhlam Muhammad in October, 1954.
Objectives Resolution:-
The Constituent assembly approved the objectives Resolution on 12th March 1949.
Bogra Formual:-
In April 1953, Muhammad Ali Bogra became the third prime Minister of Pakistan. He presented a formula to end the constitutional deadlock. According to this formula, the Upper House comprised of 50 seats including ten each from all the provinces.
Indus Water Treaty:-
Indus water treaty was signed by India and Pakistan in 1960 to resolve the outstanding canal water dispute b/w the two countries.
L.F.O:-
The Term LFO represents LEGAL FRAME WORK ORDER, which was promulgated by Gen. Yahya khan in March, 1969. The LFO comprised of the guiding principles for the new constitutions.
ECO:-
It stands for ECONOMIC COOPERATION ORGANIZATION which was established in February 1992.
Geneva Accord:-
in April 1988, USSR, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan signed an accord at Geneva which ended the Soviet military intervention in kabul.
SSARC:-
South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation was estabished in Dhaka in December, 1985. This organization is comprises of seven nations.
Constitution of 1973:-
The constitution of 1973 was enforced in the country on 14th August, 1973. This constitution is a written document and comprises of twelve parts consisting of 280 articles.
