AOA......... CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT IS 36TH COMMON.............and is it necessary to attend any academy for preparation of CSS exams.........

first of all welcome to the forum dear....hope u will benifit from here and enjoy urself with us....

secondly its not at all necessary to join an academy for preperation...css is something which is much more related to ones own capabilities, skills and abilities than to rely upon teachers and conventional teaching methodologies..... anyhow if u want and have time like one whole year(if u r appearing in 2008) than u can join some good reputed academy for 3-4 months...but again its not essential...

hope any eminent member will reply to ur first query!

Every new batch in Civil Services Academy is given a name such as 1st common, 2nd common, 3rd common and so on. This method of naming different batches started in 1972 or 1973. Those who joined civil service prior to this are called pre-commoners.
