Default Should we think from heart or mind

I have a question for discussion and do hope that every member will take its part. Should we think from heart or mind.

Well dear, I myself prefer mind's decisions coz the mind analyzes every fact then gives its verdict so its almost always right. But I listen to the heart, too, somtimes....

I think we should use both, use heart in the matter of heart and love, and use mind where its needed, where we need to have a mind decision

Heart is lacking function to take decisions. It is especially made for pumping blood. While brain is the central unit which takes all the decision.

In the light of dramacratic philosophy, Heart takes inappropriate decision coz of being sentimental. While Brain takes painstaking decision coz it is concious for your better movement.

Chao,

Hi friendz,

Who told u tht heart can take decision or even think?
Any Scientific Reason or logical reason?

It is only brain who has the capacity to think or ponder.

I second to invincible...Only brain has ability to think..

@Anarkali
Dear i think tat ur question should be reframed....it should be

"Should we follow our heart or brain"

Obviously brain takes decisions but there is a great role of heart in moulding those decisions...Like most of the times Hamara kissi kaam ko karnay ko, Say parhanay ko dil nahi cha rar hota....but some pple listen to brain and some to heart...decision in both cases is taken by the brain...but heart do interferes...And one of the both dominates the other....It up to us, whether we leave the brain to decide independantly or allow our heart to interfere...

Others may differ but tat's what I think!!!

hmmm, if by using one's heart u mean thinking emotionally and by using one's mind u mean analysing each and everything, then i think it all depends upon the situation one finds himself/herself to be in.........in some circumstances, a person may get emotionally involved, and the decision might be based upon his/her "heart'........while in some other circumstances, a person might not feel any emotional attachment and, subsequently, he/she would analyse the problem, think logically, and then his/her decision would be based upon his/her "mind".

in my opinion, it is always better to think things through logically, without getting emotionally involved, but sometimes it gets unavoidable............ so, stick to ur guns, make a decision by "heart or mind"(whatever floats ur boat), and hope that u have made the correct choice.
