Default Bushisms.. :)

President Bush went to a school to interact with the children. After having
one brief talk with the children he asked them if they had any question to
ask him.
One boy raised his hand and stood up;

Bush: whats your name
John: john
Bush: whats your question
Johm: sir I have three questions

1) why did America attack iraq without the approval of UNO
2) where is osama
3) why does America support Pakistan so much

Bush: you are an intelligent student john....(just then the bell for recess
rang)
oh dear students we will continue after the recess is over.
After the recess
Bush: ok children where were we? Yes, so anybody wants to ask any question?

Peter raises his hand

Bush :Whats your name?
Peter : sir I have 5 questions.
1) why did America attack iraq without the approval of UNO
2) where is osama
3) why do America support Pakistan so much
4) why did recess bell rang 20 mins before the scheduled time
5) where is JOHN?

"And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it." --George W. Bush, interview on National Public Radio, Jan. 29, 2007

"Soldiers, sailors, Marines, airmen, and Coastmen -- Coast Guardmen, thanks for coming, thanks for wearing the uniform." --George W. Bush, at the Pentagon, March 19, 2008

--George W. Bush, while showing German newspaper reporter Kai Diekmann the Oval Office, Washington, D.C., May 5, 2006

More ‘Mushisms’ than Bushisms

Press Trust Of IndiaPosted online: Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 0000 hrs
Islamabad, November 27: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf seems to have engineered another bloodless coup, overthrowing his US counterpart George W Bush to become a permanent fixture at one of the largest and funniest spoof news websites.

The latest event in Pakistan’s unending political drama to be up on the website is the country’s suspension from the Commonwealth last week, which Islamabad had described as “unjustified and unreasonable”.

“What is the matter with these Commonwealth guys, why can they not trust me when I say maybe I will take off my uniform in a few days; I might remove the emergency after the elections, within a few days I intend to free the judges, lawyers, human rights activists, that I am the only true democrat in all of Pakistan,” said one satirical post at thespoof.com.

Another spoof news report read: “The Army General-turned-President-turned-chief-of-staff-turned-President and soon to become civilian Musharraf, once again sought legitimacy for his emergency.”

The Spoof also put out a satirical news-item on the much-awaited TV show Pakistan Idol.

“General Pervez Musharraf appeared on prime-time TV yesterday and admitted that he had fired the entire ‘Pakistani Idol’ panel of judges. Insisting that a “rigged vote threatens national security”, Musharraf maintained that he had no option but to declare a musical emergency; otherwise ‘extremists and bad people’ would have taken over.”

“A new panel of tone-deaf judges will declare him the winner in three months after which the emergency will be lifted,” the report said.

Just like Bush’s widely reported one-liners or “Bushisms”, Musharraf too has “Mushisms” on several websites. Here is a list posted by a senior Pakistani journalist:

•“Extremism bahut extreme ho gaya hai (extremism has become too extreme)”

•“Hum se koi darta hi nahin (nobody is scared of us anymore)”

•“Hakumat ke andar hakumat bana rakhi hai (there is a government within the government)”

and here is some more...
