Strength
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
The mountain remains unmoved at seeming defeat by the mist. An oak and a reed were arguing about their strength. When a strong wind came up, the reed avoided being uprooted by bending and learning with the gusts of wind. But the oak stood firm and was torn up by the roots. The block of granite, which was an obstacle in the path of the weak, becomes a stepping-stone in the path of the strong. Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. |
