Red face Looking 4 Guidance...

hello everyone,
im totally new 2 css & in need of guidance...i've graduated in double maths & stats...so my first obvious choice wud b mathematics or statistics..other than tht i wz considering the prospects of choosing british or european history and international relations...ppl who've studied these subjects, plz feel free 2 give ur opinion....and secondly, i've heard tht officer's academy is pretty good...expensive but good. And then there r ppl who say tht joining an academy just a waste of time...one can easily do it himself...so im stuck between 'to do or not to do' ....any advice???

Salam

Janab u are welcome to css forum. Keep enjoying ur time wid us in an intellectual manner. Its not that bad to join an academy, its up to u. But its my pesonal experience tht joining an acadey is not that pivotal.

Ur optionals r good but u need to go for maths or stats if u have studied it. I think Britih history is a better option. What abt remaining ones ???

All d best
Regards

@MYzz...

If u want to go for Officers Academy, u should.....but only for a month, becoz within that period u'll realize that the academy can just help u deciding the optionals and getting notes on 1-2 optionals (like British Hist, Geography)...

British and European History are scoring....u may opt for any of them. If u join Officers Academy, u'll get all the notes etc on British History..which will be sifficient to get 130+ score in this particular subject.

If u want books on British History, get these:
1. British History by Southgate (2 books)
2. Modern British History (by Norman Lowe)
3. British History by Sheikh Qayyum (available at Caravan Book House)....Sheikh has reproduced matrial from different books, but it is according to the exam requirement.

ALLAH HAFIZ!
