A non Muslim scientist has proved that the things around you like mobiles; lights etc produce an electric charge due to the electromagnetic radiations caused by them. If you want to protect yourself from these radiations you should, more than once in a day, place your forehead on the floor (i.e. SAJDA) as the earth has tendency to absorb radiations (e.g. no signals in cell phones when you are underground). Transfer of these radiations from your body to the earth if your forehead is on sand.

Actually I think there must be a published research paper on this
If some one could provide that then it would have been the ultimate help

as this information is relavent so i am sharing it with u ppl but i dont have any authentic proof or source
once a doctor was discussing that to do SAJJDA a bit long are really helpful for hair fall problem which is being faced by almost 70% population of Punjab.
now the scientific logic is that during SAJJDA position BLOOD CIRCULATION increases towards haed region which helps to privide nourishment to hairs and also help in re growth of hairs.
