1. His beloved has come to meet him and listen about her beauty in his words. 2. But his beloved is still shy and due to mix-up of intense feeling of love and shyness she is unwillingly forces to cover up a part of her face. and this kind of shy attitude is disturbing the poet thus he expresses her feelings instead of praising her beauty. hope my interpretation is better...

@Abbasi Faheem,
Thank u for coming up with an interpretation.I like it but i don't feel myself in a position to rate it since it is a difficult one for me besides the decision-makers are sitting some where else.Any how,Faheem sb.i ve also a point in my mind.I think the attitudinal problem really hurts others.And don't u think the couplet also imlies the sense of getting overbearing on the part of someone. Please correct me if i ve again misinterpreted.And the house is open for every one. With regards, ASAD |

I think u r not satisfied with my 1st interpretation; I gave u romanticized feelings , now take it in this way...
Even though a few children are very frank to their parents but sometimes they enter their parents room to say something, but are unable to express due to the respectful feelings...then the parents are considered to be the poet...to whom u have given a hint to say something n due to their respect in ur mind u are unable to continue... Hope this is much better if still ur dissatisfied...will give u another one...

Thank u Abbasi sb. for ur coming up with an another interpretation over my misinterpretation(once again--i m misinterpreting things these days-i dont know why?).Any how,this is the beauty of literature that one simple thing can be said in different ways and in different styles.That is why we see that literary ppl find multiple meanings of a common and even already discussed idea.

Pl.Comment,if u find an opportunity???
How do u see this couplet,
Yeh kaisa dastoor e zuban bandi hay teri mehfil mein Yahan to baat karnay ko tarsti hay zaban meri If there is any correcetion u would like to make in it,u r welcome.But then pl. elaborate upon the overall thought of the couplet. Why the poet had to say so?

In my opinion this couplet is an image of the previous one. Take it as you are writing an essay of about 4500 words in a competitive exam, where u have to be neutral and positive and control ur language, but if u are asked to write in a newspaper u are allowed to write wat ever u want. or if u r in a meeting with ur superior officers u have to b of diplomatic type, but if u r with ur friends or colleagues it would be enjoyable to use certain slang words. Romantically Consider ur family is invited by ur beloved's parents in a party u will at first love to hav a sigh of her n then talk to her; n same will b the case with her but due to fear of her or ur family u are unable to express ur feelings, but u have to keep ur tongue locked..thus u will start expressing ur feeling with ur eyes...

Its very simple sir,
Beauty lies within the eyes... In other words if u are having a negative attitude towards every thing then even though some good natured people will come into contact with u, u will consider them bad as u only look at the negative side of the picture... well not sure this time...
