what is the name of goal, if he score against own team?

if a player score goal against his own team then , whether the goal is account
in his total goals record or not?

Hafiz sahib such a goal is called "own goal" and such goal does not count in player's record.

As the star has said, its an Own-Goal. I scored many while at school in football and hockey when playing with seniors because I used to get confused.

@mangat1 "own goal" most often is a result of defensive measure rather than confusion.In field hockey there is no concept of "own goal".If ball goes straight into net after striking the defender's stick,only a long corner is conceded,not a goal.

Star either you're mistaken or I am. In hockey, if you hit in the goal from with in the D and the defending team's player's hockey touches the ball and it goes in the goal, is it a corner then ? Remember, from within the D.
If its from outside the D then ofcorse its nothing.

Yes only a corner is conceded in such case when it comes to field hockey.
