Survey: Most inefficient Federal Department?

Guys, i am launcing a survey, asking you that which Federal Govt Department , you feel to be most inefficient?

Reply name of department with any one reason too?

I feel FPSC the most inefficient department.

Reason: Only retired, tired and old people are taken on contract in FPSC just to give them pays and other benefits. That s why entire CSS process takes more than 17 months from advertisement date to Selection notification. As it gives leaders to all other Govt departments, so FPSC is root cause of all inefficiecies in all other Govt. departments.

You are right to some extent but i dont agree with your entire statement....

Though they are retired but not tired.....FPSC takes time 2 much i really am against it but these retired panelists really do have great experience, so they can better judge candidates to be suitable for the job or not then t\ose who are young enough and have not enjoyed the high profile ranks......

I would ask for complete reforms in FPSC management department. To higher more examiners, n make psychological test and interviews quickly passed so that ultimately candidates get their result in same year in which they appeared for written.....

e.g:
January....written papers
April..... Result
May.... Medical
jun-aug....Psychological
aug-nov .......... interviews
December......Merit list and allocations.....
so this would literally give candidates thair age security and more chances of other employment opportunities as they will not end up losing other option what they do in these circumstances i myself know many friends who left their chances in many good jobs to go for css and they waited for entire 2 years in messing up their ultimate fortune....

I feel FPSC non transparent because FPSC does not allow candidates to watch their papers after written test. It is a big bad point on transparancy of FPSC. We can not say what they do inside? If they are transparent then why they do not allow candidates to see their ealuated papers?

Agar retired bande itnehi efficient hote to unheen apne department se tire hone hi waase kuon retire kiya jata? In pak average age is 63 years, and FPSc members 60 saal ki umer main retire hone ke baad iss post per aate hain? So kia efficiency aap expect kr sakte ho un se? CSS entire process 6 maa main complete hona chahyee, as general gulzar kiani wanted......

Dear, no wheere in pakistan competition exams are given for rechecking. You can not claim NBP, SBP, PCS or any other exam for paper checking because they already incurr much expenses on them hence they dont have time and expenses to let candidates check them out. 2ndly, y they dont do it cz this would lead to disputes between candidates and commision as candidates if not atisfied can go to courts... so its notpossible ever that they would give candidates permission to have their papers checked

Yup hona chahye 6 months me but its not only issue k 6 month me complete ho jaye tou ek saal me 2 exams karwa lo phir.....allocations k lye vacancies phir 25 ya 40 nikalengi us ko kiya karogay......wouldnt it be a tragic slap for candidates who are appearing in thousands and will end up only getting hardly 50 seats so vacancies need time as welll....Tough i agree it should be as fast as they can make it.....Baqi jahan tak retired logon ki baat hai u r rite but they can not hire an office bearing bureaucrat or military gen or justice cz it will give rise to CONFLICT OF INTEREST and then FPSC will notenjoy reputation of UNBAISED institute.....
