salam to all, guys i want to request u all my friend is very poor but she got position in punjab university,she is searching for job for about 2 years but all in vein,any one in rawalpindi know any job vacancy in college or school plz let me know.well she has done her masters in geography with me. i am anxiously waiting.:onesec

Vacancies in colleges and universities are mostly reference based in private sector. So its better for you to try to remain in touch with FPSC adds for lecturers etc as it can be based on merit.

If she was a position holder in PU, I am sure the university will offer her a job as well or she can ask around and they may take her.

However, If she is well versed with computers (Networking OR Databases), I might offer a private job. I am not a employer or something, just a hobby software developer and I often need someone to work with/for me. I might start a project soon with-in a month or so, If she has the required skills kindly update me; thanks

You (your friend :)) ) need to keep looking for vacancies in newspapers and apply for a suitable one, that will be the only sensible advice. This site [URL="http://www.epaperpk.com/"]http://www.epaperpk.com[/URL] posts all the job announcements published in newspapers. Keep checking it daily.

In the meanwhile, do you have any idea of working online?? You can make some good $$s rite at home on your computer without even going to a workplace everyday, and you also dont need to be a big computer geek to do that :D (only reasonable typing speed will do). They have offices in different cities which take some payment (probably 5000 rs or so, they have different packages) and make an account for you on some website and keep giving you tasks. Upon completion of tasks you get paid in $$ (thats rite $$ not Rs. :D). I know one office here where I live, have no idea about your town (or city) but you can definitely look for it.

Its good, but it requires patience.

What a dilemma!!!! Those who are skillful they are jobless, those who work days and nights and get distinctions are never acknowledged. When this corruption will going to end! When hard workers will be rewarded! When bureaucrats, politician and aristocrats will stop the exploitation of a common man.
I am sorry I cant help you finding a job but one thing is for sure soon the change is about to come……………..
