Vacancies in colleges and universities are mostly reference based in private sector. So its better for you to try to remain in touch with FPSC adds for lecturers etc as it can be based on merit.

You (your friend ) need to keep looking for vacancies in newspapers and apply for a suitable one, that will be the only sensible advice. This site http://www.epaperpk.com posts all the job announcements published in newspapers. Keep checking it daily.

In the meanwhile, do you have any idea of working online?? You can make some good $$s rite at home on your computer without even going to a workplace everyday, and you also dont need to be a big computer geek to do that (only reasonable typing speed will do). They have offices in different cities which take some payment (probably 5000 rs or so, they have different packages) and make an account for you on some website and keep giving you tasks. Upon completion of tasks you get paid in $$ (thats rite $$ not Rs. ). I know one office here where I live, have no idea about your town (or city) but you can definitely look for it.

This website http://www.freelancer.com allows you to make a free account. You will then need to fill in your expertise and it will show you projects that you can take as per your expertise. You then need to bid on projects (and pray that it is approved ) and after finishing the project in time (duration of which they will mention) you will be paid via pay pal in $$ (the amount will also be mentioned in project specifications )... Its good, but it requires patience.
