Msc sociology OR Msc mass communication?

i want to do Master, i have two choices Sociology OR mass communication.do not ask me about my interest . i am not interested. i do not know.
what i am interested is in the Scope,Jobs in public or private sector.
which field ???

I would recommend "Mass Communication" it has the brighter future in Pakistan.

i will suggest SOCIOLOGY coz it has been observed in recent times that M.sc Sociology has been the main requirement of many Government,human rights dprt..and of NGO's jobs...now its upto you whether to serve in Print electronic media or for Human rights!!!

As far as the scope of mass communication is concerned, this is the media/information age and communication has become a must in every field. Mass communication can help in several ways,

Public relations officers are serving in media firms, public and private sector organizations

Advertising is a growing industry, with the emerging trends information technology

One can obviously become a journalist, anchor person, researcher, Editor, Producer etc

Information ministry can also offer a number of jobs

I have done Masters in mass communication and I really find it helpful. Females have some limitations though, but for males it is highly professional and shining career.
