Semester system. As it gives tough time to students, and they have to face exams after half year or so, thus they study more. Where as in annual system students sleep in early months and study in last.

I will go for Semester system as it usually bound you to study daily and timely.In annual system you become very lenient(i suppose)
Moreover semester system helps you to evaluate your performance weekly as there are quizes and assignments mostly on weekly basis.It enables you to work in challenging enviornment in future too!
But it does not mean that people who attends annual system institution are not capable of any thing,They are best too...still semester system is preferable in every way.

i have been through both. Till graduation, i studied under annual sysytem...n then i did my masters in semester system...To me both have its own advantages n disadvantages!

ANNAUL SYSTEM gives you a lot time to reflect more on the subjects you study, if you really want to. but in semester system, you have to crash it. It keeps you at your toes all the time as the time period is very short. So, a complete grip on the subjects you study becomes a difficult task....On the contrary, annual system sometimes make you develope habbit of procrastinatioN(as you tend to putt off what you need to do today)...in semester system, procrastination means, you are more likely to find your name among droppers....semster system make you good manager of time, energy n resouces while annual system does not necessarily help develope such managerial qualities.....chioce is yours!

i would go for semester system!

in semester system tutors and teachers are the autonomous authority who hold all powers they can decrease or increase the marks in examination just on personality base, relation base, approach base but in annual system the success reserved only for hardworking students



there are some differences between these two systems

annual system
1-fee kam hoti hai
2-papers k nazdek khob ratta lagta hai jo sari umer kam ata rahta hai
3- assignments ki tention nahi hoti
4- teachers ki chaploosi nahi karni parti
5- part time job ki ja sakti hai



semester system
1-jab dekho fees ka he shor hota hai
2-aj parho, kal paper, parso bhol jata hai
3-subha sham assignment he likhty raho
4 tc karty raho to thek warna! cgpa ki khair nahi
5-part time job k liay bara muskal hota hai time nikalna

semester system ka 1 he faeda hain k % bohat zayada a jati hai

I am not going to say that semester system doesn't asses someone's ability then why do Universities deduct marks of those students who have passed their courses (BS/MSc/BBA/BSCS etc) in semester system. I give exapmle of PU. PU deducts marks for admission in higher classes.

I don't think its true.
We were given "Executioners"(read teachers).Most of them belonged to army and those who were civilians they wanted to prove themselves more stricter than army men.In this clash of titans,students got crushed.In our Batch(including students of all 4 sections)only 12/15 were passed without flying in a single subject,in any sem.
And the percentage,even after doing thesis is .

In my opinion,Semester system should be made compulsory till Graduation as it will make students more vigilant.
At Masters level,One should go with Annual system if one really wants to get familiar with the subject specially in the case of Literature and History.
Semester system main Literature perhny ka maza nahi ata.

4- nai g. i had fight with 4 teachers hehe phir bi Allah ka bra karam hay ...aik nay tou literally meri presentation rok k class say bahir kr dia tha haha
