LAHORE: An extraordinary option appeared as a possible answer for a question on a ninth grade exam.
The question, what is the system of life based on, listed Zardari Sahib as one of the options. The other options in the multiple choice question included religion, world and wealth.
According to the Punjab Education Minister the paper was made by a teacher from Dera Ghazi Khan and an investigation is underway to find out how ‘Zardari Sahib’ was listed as one of the options.
The minister adds that action will be taken against those found to be involved.
This was not the only question in which an unusual option was listed as a probable answer. A question appearing in the evening paper for the ninth grade asked: Who is responsible for the protection of Pakistan?
The options listed for this multiple choice question were Allah, Gilani Sahib, Zardari Sahib and the Pakistani people.

i dont know whether to laugh,get surprised,weep or to do what at this piece of information....

Serioulsy the teacher setting the paper seems to be A big beneficiary of PPPP govt. or otherwise if it is some intentional act on the part of PPPP think tank(lower,middle or upper level) then............it is understandable as this is the only way they can/should win the coming election i.e by hypnotizing,brainwashing etc the people.

This is utter nonsense!
Looks like the paper setter wanted to depict some sense of humor.
The news did arise a good laugh.

If this was done intentionally, the paper setter must be punished for ridiculing the system and for confusing the poor students.

Or it can be seen as a PPP tactic to launch another attack on the so-called 'Khadim e Aala' .. I suspect Raja Riaz will soon come live and claim that Shehbaz Shareef set the paper himself ..

To me, azure's point looks valid .. Maybe the examiner wanted some humour in the current precarious scenario ..

This Speaks volume for the meanness and dirt of the mind of paper setter.
And also makes itoud and clear why our education system is like this. If such narrow minded people would be sitting on such important task , how can we expect better results. This was a tacti. to malign president zardari , may be In order to make someone happy or to satisfy inner meanness.

er i am a lil surprised at the overreaction especially since the person in question has been disqualified for life!!
hellooo, sense of humour anyone? but even if you don't consider it funny, who here hasnt taken an exam where ridiculous options are listed, making it easier for the students to eliminate them!!
for instance, even in this very paper (2 question above the now-famous mcq) he gives these options to determine the author 1)imtiaz ali taj 2)maali 3) haali

unfortunately Pakistani media specializes in making an issue out of a non-issue
