Default Post Graduation Confusion

Hello everyone........i wanted to ask whether to pursue master studies after completing my engineering or appear for CSS.....the thing is that applications for MS take time....i may even do a job before MS while CSS will delay this process for me.....so which is better....completing MS and then appearing for CSS or using up an attempt for CSS immediately after BS which willl probably keep me occupied for 6-8 months???
Please guide me as things are quite confusing for me.
