Question Resignation for changing Service

Assalam O Alaikum members ..

I am new to cssforum as well as to "Jobs things"

For instance,if we are serving in some Dept, say Motorway Police, can we resign when we get selected in CSS ? I mean, is our Resignation accepted forthwith ?? I am a bit confused because I have seen that people's resignations get denied .. Are there any terms and conditions for Resignations ?

I am specifically asking about Motorway Police, because I'm applying for a job in the Dept, and will apply for the CSS too ..

Hope you got the point ..

Regards.
