fulfillment
an aeon in a moment began with the sky dusky whispers of the incompleteness the shattering din of the destroyed invokes a desire so blind and wild struck in whim obsessed by the fear craves fulfillment brings semblance of affect a Talisman of sensations the thirst getting alive rejuvenates life paves the way to oblivion sculpts the needs through darkness of the sky the dancing desires taking to the highs desiccated quenched as drop touches parched sand the smell of fulfillment the touch of completeness the whispers of madness all mustered by night beautiful given to the dawn gives life to the dead completes forever quenched forever an aeon in a moment till the dawn by Almaas Ruby

I started writing these lines after your request to share some writings on fulfilment . Well i cant say it a good piece because I am novice to poetry and I have typed these lines in last five minutes but frankly speaking this is sharing of my original feelings, which are hovering and storming my mind from a couple of days....
- - - - Your meetings urges have restlessed my body and soul It has increased so much now that it seems my body will be parted by my soul, So my soul will fly to your abode.... Or otherwise, I will transform or dissolved in air and I will start flying.... Flying high and high to reach your city.... But will that be my fulfillment? Or will it be end of my ecstasy? Perhaps You know that i cant come alone, So please made our wishes come true and invite us together to your city... So our bodies sit near your abode and our souls roam in streets of ancient tayyabah, to meet You to glance You......................

Fulfill my one request.
Fulfill my one request, I know I am not supposed any to make. I still want you to settle this, You can say no, don’t worry about it. I can’t help to forget the moments together, Those were not for real, I cannot consider. I always felt in a comfort field, Whenever you were there my dear. I am in such a grief I cannot explain Fulfill my last wish To leave you I will wane Say you still love me and never un-deared , Say there were only things you feared. Be good to me, If you want to be, Tell me the truth and set free, me. Man! I never new this way of expression. How well we can express feelings and emotions. Damn! I am sounding same again.

Quote:
Wordsworth said and I quote "Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings." The following free verse is platonic fulfillment in metaphor. And as goes the cliche, I composed it in last 3 mins to honor Purab Sarhan's "Fulfill my one request." and your request to share ours on Fulfillment.. The blistering sun spotted The drifting green patch, In the dull blue waters Looking up leisurely, They gazed and gazed… and smiled. Regards. Shafiq Haider Virk
