Post The Wasteland

The Wasteland

April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A little life with dried tubers.

BY T.S.Eliot

Default My favorite poem

Waste Land is one of my favorite poem
T.S Eliot very truly describes the age that best fits to present day as well

Yes,to some extent it does represent the present situation.
The loss of faith and sprituality is the main theme of Waste Land.
