The Day


The sun is rising,
The Evil is hiding.
The Evil is parting,
The Good is returning.
Everyone is full of joy, but in the mean time they wonder
How did they survive this night ? Now there's something to ponder.
But there's no time to think these sad thoughts,
Enjoy the day while it still lasts
Smell the flowers, drink the wine,
Enjoy these couches covered in twine.
In the same time don't forget to prepare yourself
For the night that will come, beware of that elf!
Enjoy the day while it's still here, and don't worry about the past
For this day may be your very last.
