Jo din charhay to teray wasl ki dua kerna
Jo raat ho to dua hee ko bay asar kehna

Yeh keh kay doob gaya aaj aakhri sooraj
Keh ho sakay to isi shab ko aab sahar kehna

Mein aab sakoon say rahoon ga keh aa gaya hai mujhe
Kamal-e-bayhunari ko bhi ek hunar kehna

Woh shakhs mujh say bohat bad guman rehta hai
Yeh baat uss say kaho bhi to soch ker kehna

Kabhi woh chand jo pochay keh sheher kaisa hai ?
Bujhay bujhay howay lagtay hain baam-o-dar kehna

Hamaray baad azeezo , hamara afsana !
Kabhi jo yaad bhi aaey to mukhtasar kehna

Woh aik mein keh mera shehar bhar ko apnay siwa
Teri wafa kay taqazoon say bay khaber kehna

Woh aik tu keh tera her kisi ko mairay baghair
Ma'amalat -e-muhabbat main mautaber kehna

Wafa ki tarz hai Mohsin keh maslihat , kia hai ?
Yeh tera dushman-e-jaan ko bhi chara ger kehna
