Khuda ko paa gayaa waaiz magar hai
zaroorat adami ko adami ki

mila hoon muskura key us se har baar
magar ankhoon main bhi thi kuch nami si thi

bhari mahafil main har aik se bachaakar
teri ankhoon ne mujh se baat kar lii

larakpan kii adaa hai jaan-leva
Gazab kii chokari hai haath-bhar ki

raqiib-e-Gamazada ab sabr kar ley
kabhi us se meri bhi dosti thi
