dil ke ujrey kawaarr meiN meri khaamshiyaaN heiN gonjti
jab lafz zubaaN sey chin gaey to kesey koi kuch kaha karey

sar-e-raah-guzar ye is qadar deeye sey kis ney jalaa deeye!
ye chiraagh sarey be-zubaaN, ab jo bhi chahey hawaa karey

merey dil ke armaaN sab ke sab terey dar pe aa ke ruk gaey
chaahey aas dey ya yaas dey, jo chaahey teri nigaah karey

jo hathelioN meiN darj nahi wo siwaaey saey ke kuch nahi
laakh ban kar lahu koi ragoN meiN chaahey bahaa karey!!!
