Uarh lamhon ki dastanain, jo tum kaho to sunayen tumko
Buhat sa ham jagte rahe hain, chalo zara sa jagayen tum ko

Tumhi ho jo roshni si ban kar hamari ankhon main aa basay ho
Jub apni aankhen hi kehdiya he, to phir bhala keun rulayen tum ko

Tum aaj keun muztarib ho janaan, tumhare lehje main toot kesi
Kaha nahin tha keh waqt dega kadoorton ki sazayen tum ko

Ghubar alood raston main talash kar kar ke thak gay hain
Kahan pe ja kar base huay ho, kahan say ham dhoond layen tum ko

Tumhain to sukh aa gay muyessar, tumhain to ham yaad hi nahin hain
Magar batao keh ham jo chahen to kistara say bhulayen tum ko

Kaho ae Jazab! ye jhoot hay na ke tum ne usko bhula diya he
Abhi talak jiski shokh yaden har aik lamha satayen tum ko
