Aur chahta hay ye aaj bhi,
Chhupaya tha ye raaz pehle bhi,
Aur chhupaya huwa hay ye aaj bhi,

Kuch majburiyon k wastey,
Tumhain bey-khabar rakha,
Aur majburiyoon ki zanjeer se,
Hain bandhey hum aaj bhi,
Chaha tho naheen tha,
K tum bin zindagi guzrey,
Par tumharey muskurathey chehrey ne,
Qadam rokey merey aaj bhi,

Yeh such sahi k,
Baney thay tum jeeney ki wajah,
Magar deko kismat ka faisla,
Nikla alag aaj bhi,
Bhoolain gay shayad tumhain,
Dheere dheere sadiyon main hum,
Magar such puchho tou,
Lagthi hai tumhari zaroorat,
Is zindagi ko aaj bhi...
