khuda say husan ny ek roz ye sawal kya
jahan may kun na mujhy tu ny lazawal kya

Mila jawab k tasweer khana ha dunya
Shab-e-draze adam ka fsana ha dunya

Hwe ha range taghyur sy jab namud is ke
wohe haseen ha,hakekat zawal ha jis ke

kahen kareeb tha,ye Gouftagu Qamar ny sune
Falak py aam hwe,Akhter-e-sahar ny sune

Sahar ny taray sy sun kar sunae shubnum ko
Falak ke baat bta de zameen k myhram ko

Bhar aye phool k ansoo pyyam-e-shabnum sy
Kalle ka nunna sa dil khoon ho gya ghum sy

Chammun sy rotta hwa mousam-e-bhaar gya
Shabab syyr ko aya tha,soogwar gya
