kitane chup-chaap se lagte hain shajar shaam ke baad

Itne chup-chaap ke raste bhi raheinge laa-ilm
Chor jaayeinge kisi roz nagar shaam ke baad

Main ne aise hi gunaah teri judai mein kiye
Jaise tufaan mein koi chor de ghar shaam ke baad

Sham se pahle vo mast apni uraanon mein raha
Jis ke hathon mein the tote hue par shaam ke baad

Raat biti to gine aable aur phir socha
Kaun tha baa_is-e-aaghaz-e-safar sham ke baad

Tu hai sooraj tujhe maloom kahan raat ka dukh
Tu kisi roz mere ghar mein utar sham ke baad

Laut aaye na kisi roz wo aavara mizaaj
Khol rakhte hain isi aas pe dar shaam ke baad??

lamhon ki wardat pay dil keon udas hay
asi b khas qurbatain hum mey na thein magar
tark e taluqat pay dil keon udas hay
sodagari k shok mey soraj ko bach kar
badlay mey ai raat pay dil keon udas hay
