ik chand tanha khara raha
meeray aasman say zara paray
meray sath sath safar main tha
meri manzilon say zara paray

teri justuju k hisaar say
teray khwab teray khayal say
main woh shakhs tha jo khara raha
teri chahton say zara paray

kabhi dil ki baat kahi na thi
jo kahi tou woh bhi dabi dabi
meray lafz pooray tou thay magar
thay smaaton say zara paray

tou chala gaya hay humsafar
zara dekh mur k tou ik nazar
meri kashtian hain jali hui
teray sahilon say zara paray
