Sahe hain us ke liye yeh azaab main ne bhi

Judaiyon ke khalish us ne bhi Na zahir ke
Chupaye apne ghum-o-iztaraab main ne bhi

Deye bujha ke sir-e-shaam soo giya tah who
Betaii soo ke shab-e-mehtaab main ne bhii

Yahi nahi keh mujhe us ne dard-e-hijr diya
Judaiyon ka diya hai jaavab main ne bhii

Kissi ne khoon se tir chooryan jo beghii hain
Likhe hai khoon-e-jegar se kitaab main ne bhi

Khezaan ka waar bhut kaargir tha dil pe magar
Bhut bacha ke rakha’ yeh gulaab main ne bhii
