Azmat-e-zindagi ko bech diya
ham ne apni khushi ko bech diya

chashm-e-saqi k ik ishare pe
umr ki tishnagi ko bech diya

rind jam-o-subu pe hanste hain
sheikh ne bandagi ko bech diya

rah'guzaron pe lut gai raadha
Shaam ne bansuri ko bech diya

jagmagate hain wehshaton k dayar
Aql ne adami ko bech diya

lab-o-rukhsar ke iwaz ham ne
sitwat-e-khusrawi ko bech diya

Ishq behrupiya hai ay 'Saghar'
Aap ne saadgi ko bech diya
