ye bhi thek hai wo chala gaya mujhay band rastay p chor kr,
wo juda bhi kaisay hua k mein koi rasam bhi na nibha saka,

na main pass usko bula saka na main dil ki bat suna saka,
wo hansi hansi mein chal dia aur main hath tak na hila saka,

ye bhi thek hai wo chala gaya mujhay band rastay p chor kr

aik dewanay say saray sher ko ja lagtee hai
yeh muhabat tu mujhee koi waba lagtee hai

roz aa jatee hai mujhee tasalee danay
shab-e-tanhayee bata tu mere kiya lagtee hai

aik faqat tu hai jo badla hai dinoo mein warna
lagtee lagtee hi zamanay ki hawa lagtee hai

baat jitney bhi ho bayja aye sheree shukan
jab teray lab say ada ho tu baaja lajtee hai

woo jo miltee hi nahi aalam-e-badaree mein
aankh lagtay hi meray seenay say aa lgtee hai
