Share Pdf Books
Hello!
With the advent of modern age we have been seeing a progres in every field of life.Learning hasn't escaped it. With changes in many other methods inducted for education we have seen a shift from the papers to PDF.The reason i am starting this thread has to do with this shift. We need many books for references and solo topics and none of us can waste his time ,money and energy searching for all those books. So as a community we can share these books here.Remember sharing would increase it as i remember a one of the founders of US quoting "if both of us have and penny each and we exchange it,we both shall be having single penny each in the end but if both of us have a single good thought and we exchange it,we will be each having two good thoughts in the end" The method is simple...upload the books at any of the free hosting sites available like rapidshare.com or uploading.com or file-facory.com. Then paste the link here so that the other fellows can download it. OR if the book is already available there at some site then simple paste the link here for the others to download. I hope this team work and generous efforts would help all of us. Regards |

Pakistan-India in War and Peace
I would like to contribute a very informative and beautifully-written book by J.N.Dixit and published by Routledge London and New York.
J.N.Dixit is a renown journalist and writer of many books including INDIAN FOREIGN POLICY, AFGHAN DIARY SINCE ZAHIR SHAH and many others and Khushwant Singh has described him in these words. "J.N.Dixit knows what he is writing about;he is objective,clear-headed and lucid...he knows his facts and marshalls them with ability" The size of the book is 2.65 Mb and covers 500 pages. The price is $13.99 and here of course free Do remember me in your prayers and come forward for such efforts because by sharing it increases. One cannot and should not rely on Indian writers for Pakistan studies.

yes but........

you wl find him very independent and unbiased. he presents the true picture of Pakistan.he is from Brookings Institution of USA.if u have to develop analysis and command or if any one is researching on pakistan's politcal crisis,do consult this author. but i wud not disagree with Mr.Last Island that we shud be carefull while reading Indian writers. but i think we shud read them because they present negative things about pakistan and we must not neglect that opinion,if we want to develop our analytical power. Quote:
When there is a sufficient time, it is better strategy to touch different writers but that requires a sense of differentiating between unbiased and biased approach which is very rare specially for those who are new entrant in any study. If you think you can strike a balance do go through all the books even if you know that a particular book is written with biased approach, by reading that book you can judge the views of opponents and make a good analysis. When you are running short of time don’t take any risk and don’t touch those writings which are not written by neutral writers. In that situation it is better to go through HEC / UGC / VU / or any other state-sponsored organization’s recommended books which in no way can harm you at least in Pakistan based exam. |
