Criteria for Senior Member to be revisited

Dears all..

I have one question that I wanted to discuss on the forum..

and that is Should we not revisit forums criterai for making some one as senior and others junior???????

When I observed I found that anyone who makes more posts is senior--no matter these are jokes, fun stuff or anything else--happens to be senior than others...
I think posts should not be made the sole criteria for making some senior.....Many other things could be incorporated there in..i.e the utality of stuff the activeness of that person in responding to queries etc..

Hope you people will agree with my contention.

@ Daud DD

The changing of title from Junior to Senior member is totally automatic one. As soon as a person posts his/her 101st post, s/he gets a title as senior member. The value/worth of the postings of the members is not from the title but it can be seen by the Awards. You can see many members who has a few posts but those are worthy ones e.g Raz, Shah Baz, S.H. Virk. Because they differ. They have made valuable posts for the aspirants so they are appreciated by the Team as form of badge/Medal of appreciation.

One can also get such medals even being a junior member. I hope you got answer. :))

Reputation marks are also helpful in differentiating valuable members from others.

Like last island with the most reputation marks ever.
Surmount got 2 blocks as well.

I have another suggestion.. Lets rename this thread to," tareef ka jawab tareef se daien." :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

That was a suggestion but it turned into members' promotion. :ohmy:

That wasnt tareef or promotion actually. They are explaining through examples.

Members are always welcome to give suggestions but they are not allowed to reply in feedback corner on behalf of management i.e. Admins, mods and SMs.

@Last Island
That was a mere joke.. .. I am at a lil bit frank terms with those on whom I was commenting..
I am sorry if it sounded ironic to you.

Dear surmount I visted the posts of the person that you mentioned in your reply to me........but sorry to say yar.......in every instance the MAJORITY of posts posted by them pertained to areas not pertaining to CSS at all........but I have no issue with it.......one must get some entertainment toooo besides doing studies....

You mentioned about awards----well that is a gooood point which I appreciate.....but Than I will request the WORTHY ADMINS of this site to please remove the word senior or Junior member from the profile or it MUST only be linked with the awards won by the member (regardless of number of postsi.e 100+ etc.........and all others should simply be called as MEMBERS........

Daud DD:

Thank you for your suggestion but apparently there is no harm in changing the status of a member from junior to senior after a particular number of posts. If the management consider the contribution Worthwhile they award those members with medals. Hence its not the number of posts which makes the difference but invaluable contribution that proves to be of immense help to the aspirants.

Suggestion - Aadat se Majboor.

@DDD

I think it is not a big deal whether someone is Senior or Junior Member. We should contribute for the aspirants and help them in our own capacity regardless of any medals or status. Our cause should be to get benefit for our future and help others.

Junior or Senior – it is natural phenomena. In age, status and position, there is always difference. A junior officer can’t claim to be treated as equal to the senior. I think your plan is not feasible. You could post the useful material for members instead of wasting your energy and time in site feedback over a useless issue. ;)

@Mss Bushra

Light moments in feedback corner are constructive. :)

@ DD

Halao there. When I read your post in which you said that you don't think that the members mentioned by me are having posting pertaining to CSS, I read again my post and checked the postings of the appreciated members, as I know I can be wrong but hence I could see their worthy postings easily as they are visible. I thought to mention each and every post of them, but I thought its really, actually useless and wastage of time and energy..... Because criticism can search any other point to be placed. So, from my side *Case is closed*.

One of My Ravian teacher said, "Don't feel ownselves greater until some one speaks against you, no matters in form of light jokes".
