Default Can I use "gif file" as avatar ?

Can I use "gif file" as avatar or it is allowed on request. I see some members are using "gif file" as avatar.

yes it can be have as an avatar. Why don't you try it?

Moreover, try to post separate thread for your own topic but before posting, your can check FAQs and/or discover your relevant forums. Surely, there would be answer to your queries.

I put a gif file of 8KB and it is not working. See it is like a still image.

The core line is that yes, you can use a gif file as an avatar. As far as the movement of your picture is concerned I don't think so anyone would be capable of helping you in this regard. So change it into any other gif, just like you changed it before.
