One must:
  • be an active member (spending 5-6 hours daily on forum)
  • be a serious and a dedicated member.
  • know all of the rules of the forum and must be abiding by it.
  • be good at dealing with members.
  • not have a banned history.

There are some other things too that we consider but we prefer to keep it to ourselves.

Yes,you should better join Civil services. This question reflects that u asked for moderatorship because of salary. This is not an altruistic attitude.

I did not mean to hurt you. You are amazing people, helping others so selflessly.
If they asked me about my favorite personalities, i promise i will not forget you people. I owe this to you.

so you guys just make the SELECTED member a moderator, or one has to apply or ask for it? Do you guys observe members in order to find out who is eligible for this prestigious title.

We work as a team and yes, we observe members as a part of the moderator's job. We may offer the moderator ribbon if we need to extend our team. So far, I don't know a mod who has joined the club through applying for it. We do however, invite applications for Staff Members from time to time.
