A Standard Protocol...
I appreciate CSS FORUM for bringing together talented people of our country who interact with each other in order to resolve their issues regarding many of the formal job-exams, particularly, the CSS. Now, we have some rules here which add to the objectivity of this forum.
I further feel that, as it is a formal social forum, everyone here at the forum should be registered under his/her original name. One should be allowed to have a NICK NAME but the original name should be mentioned in one's profile. I hope this Protocol would further supplement the objectivity of this forum. Anyways, This is my personal opinion, I would appreciate any consideration of the matter or a valuable opinion by the members in this regard. Regards |

Dear Rana Sufian,
Though your suggestion is worthy enough to be considered but it is impractical to say on few grounds. In the first place there are members who have genuine reasons behind not disclosing the true identity. Such members should not be forced to do so. Secondly, if your suggestion is put into reality then it will add to the workload of moderators. Because it would be a difficult and boring job for them to verify the original names as all members are not honest here to write their actual names. And obviously they can’t be asked to provide educational documents as such. So leave this all to the individual’s will and let him or her use any username provided that it is under ethical limits. Regards,

@ Gotam
Thanks for speaking my mind. @ Rana Sufian Most female members prefer to use monikers instead. Members from intelligence agencies and special forces are safe in anonymity. Many have professional, social and family issues due to which they don't register with real name. Privacy is a serious matter and there can be no compromise.
