In prestige Judiciary is much higher than CSS but both of them have different domains so we can't draw a hard line to give priority of one service over other. Similarly we can't compare legislators from CSS and Judiciary.

I think judiciary is fat gaining back its domain and respect. It is so hopeful for Pakistan. This present Chief justice is a gem.See, how one courageous person can change the entire institution. I am proud of the fact that i pelted stones at policemen for the reinstatement of this person. And i would love to join judiciary.

Well I am too a bit confused in choosing between the two, but I think there are certain facts which make Judiciary a bit higher and better option.
1> That a Judge is a free and independent in his work without any political pressure or anything like. Yes some time pressure come from senior members of judiciary but a rightious person can over come that. this is not the same case in CSS. as there is too much politicle influence and pressure, if U stand firm on your foot, they will atleast make you OSD etc

2> The Respect a Pious and Learned Judge has, and the sense of satifaction each day of delivering rights and justice to the poor people, a CSP can never taste this.

3> Now the total pay (Including Judicial Allownces) is far more better than of a CSP. (Ofcourse if both earn Halal)

4> Last but not the least, I think that the best point about Judiciary is that a judge always get Reward from Allah SWT, in other words his job is also a Good Deed, and if he honestly works, and try his maximum to do justice, he get reward for his every act in this regard.
Hope this will clear things a little bit for U.
