Press Release of NAB & Establishment Division Circular
 
The NAB has issued the following Press Release wherein it has been reiterated to follow the direction of Establishment Division Govt of Pakistan. Read the same below and pass comments:

Title: Press Release - NTS to recruit 135 Officers

ISLAMABAD, April 4, 2015: In line with the directions of Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) assigned National Testing Service (NTS) to recruit 135 Officers comprising 01 Additional Director (BS-19), 29 Deputy Directors (BS-18), 58 Assistant Directors (BS-17) and 47 Junior Investigation Officers (JIO) (BS-16) transparently on merit.

National Testing Service (NTS) gave advertisement for recruitments of 135 posts of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from BS-16 to BS-19 in national newspapers as well as placed NAB Advertisement at NTS Website. National Testing Service (NTS) received 45372 applications against 135 posts of National Accountability Bureau (NAB). National Testing Service (NTS) after scrutiny of applications conducted written tests throughout the country and short listed 1531 candidates for psychological tests against 135 posts of BS-16-BS-19.

Now, National Testing Service (NTS) has called 1531 candidates against the 135 posts of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from BS-16 to BS-19 for psychological tests on Sunday, March 5, 2015 as per criteria of 1:10 ratio of top merit for each position.

[B]Note: [/B]
1. It can be easily presumed that the five candidates would be shortlisted for interview for each post.

2. 70% weightage for written test whereas 30% weightage for interview.

3. 30% weghtage would be further allocated to the interview panel as follows
a. Chariman 40%
b. Two Members 30% each

4. The interview panel would assess the candidate as under
a. Relevant Qualification/Experience 30%
b. Knowledge/Skill Relevancy 40%
c. Personality / Interpersonal communciation skills 30%

Hussain qureshi thanks for sharing a valuable informative circular.
If in the psycological test cant qualify 5 to 8 person each seat than compition may be let upon 3,4 candidates for each seat. Samiliarly if 8 candidtes fit by psyco test they may called top 5. i think now picture become more clear.

NAB last time called only those guys for interview whom to recruit, 119 seats 123 interviews...

Don`t waste your time. Interview is just a formality for them.

These are the fresh guidelines issued by Establishment Division Govt of Pakistan. The NAB will have to follow that instructions in true letter and spirit otherwise the whole process can be easily challenged in the court of law.

The DG NAB is different from last time. May be he will pursue the order. Last time, every eye bore witness to the hypocrisy of NAB.

Last time no such kind of directions issued by GOP. Focus on the first few words of Press release issued by NAB "In line with the directions of Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan...........". Further 30% weightage of interview would make a lot of difference in the presence of neck to neck competition in written result.
