Injustice By NTS in shortlisting NAB candidates

Injustice By NTS in shortlisting NAB candidates:

There is no proper criterion set by NTS. They should have mentioned passing criteria or cut off before conducting the exam. Their cut off usually is 60 marks and above but this time around, they have made it 69 which is totally wrong. NTS has no proper guidelines/rules; they are just making money out of unemployed students.
I appeared for a job test of Area Manager (Utility) last week at Gulshan e Iqbal campus Ideal College, Karachi. There was no light; no fans and most of the students were made to sit in corridor in hot weather. There was a child having age of 5 to 6 years who was bringing drinking water for candidates and invigilators, which according to the Labour law is crime (Child Labour). Still, some people would praise NTS because they are too quick to post written results as we can’t wait for long period of time. If they can’t provide you with good testing centres then, they have no right to take money from unemployed/poor students. Their fee structure starts from Rs. 450 to Rs. 1000 depending upon the nature of jobs. There are no wall clocks in examination centres and their invigilators do not possess knowledge to answer the queries of students.
According to Holy Quran, Allah says: Verily! Allah will never change the condition of the people until they change it themselves (with state of Goodness).
So, it’s time we should take stand against such institutions which are exploiting poor unemployed students of the country. I appeal each and every student of this forum to please at least think once for those people who can’t afford such hefty examination fee amounts for one particular job such as Rs. 800 or Rs. 600. There are so many people who have been rejected for 2nd phase of Psychological test of NAB even after securing 60 and above marks, which was the criterion set by NTS in their last examinations. If they had to change this then they should have said it before conducting the exam as I think this is total Injustice to those students having 60 or above marks.

I totally Agree with you, there's no criteria no facilities only and only fees's... with no criteria... i don't understand what happened to those who submitted forms for marks correction !!!

I am also agree with you as I have 71 Marks for AD NAB from Punjab and still no call for next phase
this is not for the 1st time when i am not selected as in the corporals test i had 66 marks and not been selected while guys having only 50 marks are almost finish their training
I spent average of Rs 2500 per month on nts tests

1. As far as marks are concerned, the passing criteria depends on the people who score good. At 69 marks, sindh rural has almost 5 people for one seat. If they reduce 1 mark only, the ratio will increase to 7 per seat. Thus 60 will make 20 to 50 people for 1 seat. Thus they select only a limited number of people for 1 seat which can never be criticised.
2. Nabs last test passing marks were 65 for sindh rural.
3. Passing marks are dependant on the number of seats in each region. E.g 10 seats in sindh rural, they cant select more than 50 candidates for next phase. Thus the top 50 candidates get selected.
The same thing happens in other organizations like i.b where passing marks are above 92(last teat, yet never criticised)
4. As far as facilities are concerned, its right they are below par as they ought to be. But yet, comparing to spsc or fpsc, hardly any differnce can be found.
5. 1 good thing about nts is that they are not as corrupted as spsc, n much faster than fpsc.
6. Fees structure of other tests is same as others. What do u pay for any other job in spsc or fpsc? 17th scales job costs abt 600, css costs 2200, 16th scale costs 300.

At least NTS is quick and efficient unlike FPSC, each recruitment process of which takes a year to complete, wasting candidates' precious time. NTS is charging just a few hundred rupees more than FPSC, i.e. around Rs. 500 as compared to Rs. 300 charged by FPSC, not much of a difference in my opinion. Moreover NTS process is completely transparent, unlike FPSC, where only the names of short listed candidates are displayed, and the rest of the applicants never come to know how many marks they scored.

Much more transparent if not 100%...

NTS should be banned in Pakistan immediately.
