Test pattern for the post of Assistant private secretary (BS-16)

Aoa,

I am going to apply for the post of assistant private secretary (BS-16) offered by FPSC. It is mentioned that Admission Certificates for Screening (MCQ’s Test) / Written (Descriptive Test) for General Recruitment Cases will be placed on the website of FPSC i.e. www.fpsc.gov.pk on 18th May, 2015 tentatively. My question is that does anybody know the pattern of screening and descriptive test ? Would the screening be comprised on NTS general ? N what is the pattern for the descriptive one ?

P.S: Those who are applying or having prior experience for this job kindly let me know what to prepare. Thanks a million in anticipation.

did you know short hand and long hand typing I Think first they will take a short hand test and typing test and after that they will select canditates

generally in shorthand test a person reads a paragraph and candidates have to note that in short hand. later on candidates reproduce the paragraph into plain text. Shorthand is a mthod of writing into specific way in a short manner.pit's man book is widely used to learn shorthand.it is more about practice.

Thanks for your reply. Although my writing speed is good but I do not have any knowledge about shorthand writing. N I think time is too short to learn this very technique. What do you say should I apply for this post ?

I think there would not be any mcqs test for APS. candidats would be shortlisted on the base of shorthand test. assistant private secretary is the new name of the post of stenstenographer.earlier stenographer were in bps 15. Now on Upgradation in bps 16 these posts are filled through fpsc.
