Joining PAF will be a dream for most of us but i am curious about some facts. Please share your opinions about joining SSC in terms of following aspects.

1) Tenure / Total duration of service for SSC ?
2) Pay Scale of Pilot Officer?
3) Extra benefits of joining SSC?
4) Promotion criteria ?
5) Posting locations ?
6) Family life & social life ?
7) Source of income / Job after retirement from SSC ?
8) Any disadvantages ?
