Dear zaigham,

ANF inspector may be better than inspector excise,
But considering other factors like public dealing,home posting etc
I did not feel the inner urge for ANF inspector.
As regards posting outside punjab for "change 's" sake,
I have some experience for being posted in NWFP (now KPK) as assistant security officer in ministry of defence (as a civilian officer), back in year 2005,
After which I am of opinion that such "change" is good, provided it is for a shorter period.

And as senior member Raja gujral sb rightly said that it tough to serve as a civilian under a military boss (i am ratifying his views in the light of my personal experience of serving in a similar capacity)

But i am in no way discouraging you or any other aspirant for ANF inspector;
Since these are my personal views.it may vary from person to person and one's temprament!

Rightly said brother.... I have experience of living in different cities since childhood. That really could affect your life to a greater extent..... If you are having family and serving as an officer having the facility of accommodation specially, it might not be that much tough..... But still the worst situation is, when you have to reach home town in case of any emergency....... Serving under command of Army demands a specific attitude, obedience level and discipline ..... But shah sb knows how to tackle that as they are already serving, in a bold manner ...... I hope shah sb will get my point :) ..

Short listed candidates have been asked to submit necessary documents!

Today i received a telephone call from FPSC for submission of certain documents!
The person told me that they had already written a letter for same on 26/09/2013. But unfortunately i did not receive any post!
But thank God they informed me by fone!

Any one else who received similar letter/call may post here!

kya AD ANF ki tentative pre-selection list update nhi ki jayay gee ?? kyon k easii list syy he pta chalta hai k kon kon say candidates pre-select howay hain , aur unn k kon kon sy documents required hain ??
reply plz ... any idea k pre-selection list website per update bhi ki jayay gee ya nhi ??

Dear zaigham,

Last time bhe fpsc nay AD ANF ke pre selection list shroo main jari nahi ke the
Untill aik shakhs nay dawn main letters to editor main iss ke khufia rakhnay par ahtijaj kia tha, jis ke baad pre selection list publish kar di gai the!

Some times fpsc posted letters don't reach candidates,as happened in my case;i shall suggest you to call fpsc islamabad for result!

Pre-selection list b hi jari ki jaye gi lekin pre-selected candidates ki srutiny pehle karli jaati hai...jin ko call aye gi un ke koi document missing hai aur woh short list hogaye hain...is ka matlab result jald ane wala hai...may be in two to three weeks time..

He told me 13/10/2013,As last date for submission of docs.
(Though it is sunday).may be he was mistaken;
The number was 0519210217.

The list will be placed on website after the documents submission date expires. He was not mistaken brother Maqsood. It was a leniency conferred to you by FPSC, because you did not receive the letter on time. A friend of mine, recieved that letter on Thursday 26th Sept, and was asked to submit the required documents within 15 days. Hence the expiry date was, for him and also for you would have been, Friday 11 Oct.

Above all, congratulations to you brother for this success.
