Regarding reporting role of AD ISI:

Now Civilians officers are also in forefront. Month back AD ISI was martyred in Karachi when he was leading operation against some AlQaeda guy.
Few months back. Deputy Director ISI was martyred in Balochistan during operation.
This implies Civilian officers ISI are also now assigned field tasks. May be the reason is case of Civilian Officers of ISI in Islamabad High Court.


Regarding AD FIA:

Dear fellows ! Institutions are now rising in Pakistan. NAB and FIA has become active. Hopefully it will remain active. FIA now wields extensive authority.

Every department of Government has its own jurisdiction. Like FIA, NAB, Police, Customs, Ministries etc. They can not encroach over the powers of eachother. Police works in aid of every Government department.

So the reply is that do not expect FIA to exercise powers of other law enforcement agencies. Its has its jurisdiction.

This was paper of inspector FIA (20 dec) not AD.
