Will it be another screening test like the previous one preceding to the descriptive test? Or they are going to conduct it for direct shortlisting? If somebody has an idea about it, kindly share your views, regards.

Thats not the case. They will definitely take descriptive test. The candidates shortlisted for last time have not appeared until now for descriptive test i think. Once this test is conducted, all the passed candidates will go through the test once and for all. This is my opinion and could be wrong. What you guys say.

I have also read somewhere in the fpsc rules that descriptive test will be conducted if there are scams or paper leakage so i think the candidates with high score will be called for interview and there will be no descriptive test agar paper leak na ho to |

Nope. sorry to say, you both are wrong. See rule 16 A of fPSC regarding general instruction where if applications exceed more than 20000, the exam will be conducted in Batches and 25 % would be set as threshold for next stage which is descriptive.

A descriptive test makes sense if it is conducted on the lines of AD IB descriptive test whereby 8 candidates are shortlisted against each seat. Moreover, shortlisting only through mcq test seems quite unfair bcz it undermines quality candidates n focuses on memorised information. Well that was my opinion. I thought there should be a descriptive test after the MCQ test bcz it brings about more chances of being shortlisted n also gives a chance of proving one's ability in the second stage of the test.
