I was also among the 300,shortlisted, candidates. But receive no SMS/E-Mail from FPSC.

Check your Roll number slip from FPSC website to confirm if you have been Shortlisted for descriptive test or not. No one has been texted or emailed.

10 candidates are allowed to appear in the descriptive test out of rest of the rejected candidates.The reason for it, we do not know; but one thing is for sure that we have been rejected by fpsc.just 5 minutes before, I called to fpsc and asked about the reason; they simply told that you were not fulfilling the required criteria of merit, so I was dropped out of the 300 candidates list.

What if our docs not delivered on time or any other such issue apart from our qualifying merit. They must tell us the reason.

As per the advertisement 1:8 candidates have to be given subjective English test. It means 240 for 30 posts but 300 were asked to submit documents. The extra candidates were asked due to the fact that some are found ineligible after scrutiny of documents. To save time, extra candidates are asked to submit documents. Otherwise they have to ask more candidates to submit documents later which prolongs the process. Up to the candidate where 240 were found eligible, they have called for subjective test. May be 5 to 10 above that figure due to same marks at the closing merit. Those in low merit will never be told any reason as there is none in fact. They are simply low in merit. As long as those 10 candidates are concerned who are rejected but provisionally allowed to appear in the test are those who were above the last eligible candidate in merit but the reasons mentioned against each caused their rejection. Such candidates are invariably communicated regarding their rejection as those below them have been included in the list. Again in order to save time they have been allowed to appear because if some of those succeed in restoring their candidature in personal hearing, subjective test will have to be conducted again.
This is the whole process which candidates generally don't know and keep questioning. I hope it clears now. If anybody still has a query, he can ask here.
